Contact: Ariel Greene/212-570-3961 Teenagers interested in arts, museum, or creative careers are invited to join the Metropolitan Museum of Art for free career labs. Each session brings together professionals whose jobs are related to a single topic. The following months’ topics include Living Artists, Fashion, Working with Words, and Image Makers. Each session will include a workshop led by professionals, as well as a Q&A. In June, the Met’s high school interns will run the Career Lab. Come try out some of the skills they developed in their time at the Met and leave with an understanding of a wide range of museum careers. Attend three or more monthly sessions and receive a certificate of participation. The career labs are free and take place on select Fridays from 4:30-6:30pm.
